As of December 31, 2008, NORMAN STEIN & ASSOCIATES, INC. will be closing business as
N.S.&A. As individuals, most of us will be joining PROTECTIVE COATINGS, INC. here
in Fort Wayne, IN to build a larger and stronger service for the RUBBER LINING INDUSTRY.
At PROTECTIVE COATINGS, INC., we will have the benefit of offering an upgraded service group for:
SHOP LININGS:
• In business for over 50 years
• 100,000 square feet ALL under roof
• Sandblasting facility with chilled iron grit & dust collectors enhancing cleanliness of the blast
• Larger handling facilities for moving the equipment to be lined (Overhead cranes & fork trucks)
• Experienced liners performing the most intensive of lining applications; tanks, pipe, on site. . . .
• Quality assurance procedures for blast profile depths, monitoring humidity and air temperatures…
• Several large autoclaves for curing – the largest being 10’6” diameter x 60 ft. long
• Inspection stations for the assurance of high quality linings
• Destructive test panels provided to assure the final results of the lining applications
• In door painting facility
• Multiple docks for shipping and receiving
FIELD APPLIED LININGS:
• Dedicated field lining crews to line equipment on your site
• All Confined Entry Trained field personnel. Regular safety meetings in house and data recorded.
• Written safety procedures and quality assurance manuals on PDF files for customer review
• Portable sandblasting equipment with hoses to reach the equipment to be lined
• Several heat tables specifically designed for use in the field
• 3 boilers dedicated for curing our field linings where on site steam is not available
• Quality assurance reports available as requested.
